  • Description Ketamine is a long-standing medicine used in hospitals around the world for anesthesia, procedural sedation, and pain relief. It’s been listed on the World Health Organization’s Model List of Essential Medicines for decades because of its importance in medical care.

In mental health care, ketamine is used at much lower (“sub-anesthetic”) doses than those used for surgery. At these doses, many people experience a temporary shift in perception and sense of self—often described as dissociative or “psychedelic-like.” In a therapeutic setting, this can create space for new insights, emotional processing, and a reset in rigid patterns of thinking.

  • Ketamine therapy may be a good fit if you:

    • Are experiencing depression, including treatment-resistant depression (TRD)

    • Feel “stuck” despite sincere effort in therapy and/or medication

    • Are looking for an option that can sometimes work more quickly than traditional approaches for depression, PTSD and addiction (while still being part of a larger plan)

  • 1) Screening & planning

You’ll start with a structured intake to review symptoms, goals, medical history, medications, and readiness. This helps us personalize your protocol and confirm safety.

    2) Preparation (typically 3–6 sessions)

Preparation often resembles traditional therapy: clarifying goals, building coping tools, and setting expectations for the experience. Depending on your plan, preparation sessions may be eligible for insurance coverage (coverage varies by provider and benefits).

    3) Treatment phase (commonly 2 sessions/week, up to ~6 sessions)

Many protocols begin with an “induction” phase. Your exact plan depends on your needs, your response, and the route of administration. Throughout, we prioritize comfort, psychological safety, and a calm, supportive setting.

    4) Integration (often ~6 sessions after the treatment series)

Integration turns the experience into change you can actually keep: making meaning, applying insights, and translating shifts in perspective into daily habits and relationships. This is where many people consolidate the gains.

    5) Maintenance (optional)

Some clients choose occasional maintenance sessions (for example, every few months) based on goals and symptom patterns. This is individualized—there’s no one-size-fits-all schedule.

  • Safety & monitoring

Safety is non-negotiable. Ketamine clinics vary widely, and some offer minimal screening or little therapeutic support. We take a different approach:

    • Thorough screening and individualized planning

    • Clinical monitoring and support during sessions. For every one of your sessions, a qualified professional will sit with you to ensure maximum support and guidance.

    • A strong emphasis on preparation and integration, not as afterthoughts, but as core components of care

    • Clear communication, step-by-step guidance, and a treatment plan you understand

Our aim is to provide a higher-support experience without making it complicated—so clients feel informed, cared for, and confident in the process.
